Mr. Rautray features as a “Leading Individual” in Dispute Resolution (Asia Pacific Legal 500 – 2022). Mr. Rautray has won three arbitration awards for leading road construction companies against NHAI in the year 2021 – 2022, with the total value of the award being US$ 200 million. He is the lead arguing counsel in several arbitration proceedings relating to disputes arising out of infrastructure projects and regularly advises construction companies in handling disputes at the pre-arbitration proceeding stage. He has over 26 years of experience in handling construction arbitration proceedings and has been consistently ranked in Chambers Asia 2022 and Legal 500 Asia Pacific. He is representing Canadian and Indian Joint Venture companies in DBFOT National Highway project arbitration proceedings arising out of Concession Agreements where the stakes are over Rs.12,000 crores. Successfully handled arbitration on behalf of a Hong Kong multinational company in relation to disputes arising from contracts relating to the Commonwealth Games, 2010 Delhi.
Mr. Rautray has authored two full length books titled "Master Guide to Arbitration In India" published by Wolters Kluwer (2008) and “Principles of Law of Arbitration in India” and published by Walters Kluwer (2018). The second book was released by the then Chief Justice of India Justice Mr. Dipak Misra.

Mrs. Rautray has established a formidable reputation as an arguing counsel in commercial and corporate law before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts in India. She has handled several complex commercial disputes relating to infrastructure projects, commercial disputes, construction disputes, taxation issues including the dispute relating to the construction of the Bhubaneshwar Airport and construction disputes arising out of contracts executed in Iraq and Libya.
